Less Color, Different Narrative
It turns out I don’t like working with a full palette so I pared it down. But I made up for that (in my head) by hand-lettering the comic. I was also starting to feel like my approach was too pedestrian, I wanted to shake it up. And by shake it up I mean be self reflective and have my creations start taking to me. Good times. You’ll also see part way through this page we switch to a new four-legged protagonist when I adopted my girl, Frances, in real life.
